Special Events Coordinator/Co-Coordinator: This position is currently being held by Carolyn Richards. This position really needs someone who is creative and organized. It is also considered to be one of the most fun positions, it is the perfect place for someone to show off how great they are at event planning.
The person in this position is responsible for:
- Creates opportunities for fellowship for both MOMs members and their children—in other words, she is the entertainment committee for MOMs
- Responsible for organizing, overseeing, and executing the Welcome Tea, Christmas Party, Easter Egg Hunt, and End of the Year Party
- Organize monthly evenings out for the group (Ladies’ Night Out and Ladies’ Night In)
- Schedules regular playdates throughout the month
- Send email invitations and reminders of dates and locations for events
